Designing the
Illustration for a Flyer
to promote Sick Nasty Studios producing an online event for Hedgez’s Playpen - Vol 001 featuring Luna, Jay Ivy, and Raskell
Concept
Design a groovy, summer-inspired illustration featuring animals with a relaxed, laid-back vibe. Animals must include a hedgehog, Dalmatian dog, river otter, and a dragon. Use vibrant colors that evoke the energy of summer. The animals can be styled in sunglasses with personality without being overly cute or aggressive.
The overall vibe should feel fun, carefree, and inviting, perfectly capturing the spirit of a summer event.
Final
I stylized the animals to be simple and neon with a more chill personality and a bit of “stokedness” to go along with the House music vibe. Adding pool party vibes such as a flamingo floatie and lounge chair to capture the spirit of summer.

Designing the
Illustration for a Flyer
to promote Sick Nasty Studios producing an online event for Luna’s Techno Sluts featuring @scmbgalx, @wisteriabass, and @ancientpvvr
Concept
Create a striking, stylized manga-inspired illustration that combines gothic and techno aesthetics to captivate viewers while adhering to Sick Nasty Studio vibes.
The design should feature edgy characters with a futuristic, cyberpunk twist, dressed in dark attire with high collars and leather.
Color palette should be dark and vivid. The whole design should feel intense, bold, and edgy.
Final
After finalizing my sketch, I vectorized everything in Adobe Illustrator. I chose a red and black palette to keep it simple like many of Sick Nasty Studio’s flyers. I illustrated three separate girls with gothic, techno vibes by including buzzcut hair and angled bobs. Luna specifically asked for bats and a stylized cross for the flyer as well. I provided a design with a dark background as well as a light one depending on the final flyer’s background.
